I believe that my time keeping through out this project was good. I started buying and looking at magazines first at the start of the summer holiday. After I had been away to Turkey and juggling working at my part time job I asked to have less shifts in order to be able to concentrate on the project so then I began and through the holidays I progressed with being able to work and do my project which I think I made a happy medium. My research for this project isn't deep, I have shown more development of my DPS as I think that as I used a lot of my own imagery (or from a photographer) I think that these images were shown and described correctly, but the images that I used on my London DPS (the posters down the right hand side of the page) I found these and I have described why I liked them and the information that was given along side the image on the website (also stating where I found these images) Throughout the project I did a lot of mini experiments, most have been documented within my blog to show my development, this could be made effective as it shows ideas that I would maybe not have thought of, if I was to jot down ideas onto paper at first. The parts of the project that I enjoyed the most was the fairytale frock DPS's because I was linking it to a magazine that I regularly read and look at, so therefore I found it really interesting to be able to make my own DPS for this, and also writing the article for it as I love fashion but also a wedding theme gave it that little extra more interest for me.

Evaluation
All of my double page spreads meet the needs of the visual communication and message with that I have chosen to write all my own articles and some of my images are mine, which was specified in the brief that we could do. I asked permission from a photographer to use his images (which was allowed if I was to show him where his photographs are used) so the images that were from a photographer were used in my 'Fairytale frock' DPS. I have also met the needs of the brief with that I have done 4 DPS's but I have chosen to do two of them within the same theme and the other two are different to each other. I think that the strengths within my DPS are the typefaces I have chosen to use. In the Fairytale frock DPS I had downloaded as I looked around for a typeface that was as similar as I could find to the typeface that Glamour uses. I fnally came across Dubiel and Dubiel Italic and both of those worked perfectly with the theme of the pages I was doing, so I definetly think that this is one of the strengths from all my work. Another strength that I think is in my work in this project is the imagery. Even though this project is more about the type, I think that with out these images, the type would be meaningless and would look slightly out of place (the London DPS - colours I have used would be irrelevent) A weakness that may make my work not link all together is my work experience DPS. through out my development work you can see that I was doing my DPS in the style of Love it! magazine but after looking back at it I decided that it was not working for me at all. So I decided to change it all together, I think this looks alot better and shows my style rather that me trying to imitate Love it! without all the correct typefaces it just looked too bold and uninteresting. This is a reason why this piece could be - I have not used the same style as Love it! so therefore it doesn't link to the magazine, it does not specify in the brief that this is what needed to be done but as I had followed this through out the rest of my DPS I think that this may be slightly mis understood. A way in which my DPS could be developed is if I had more time again I would do more ideas for my work experience DPS as I feel I may have rushed it slightly towards the end as I wasn't happy with my first outcome.
