Research in to business cards

All of the following business card designs are from this website:

I liked these business cards for the silhouette that is different on a selection of the cards. I think that as a series they look really good together and also even if there was only one version of these it would work well too. I think that the colour on the front on the card against the silhouette makes people interested, almost like the kind of game as a child 'what can you see' comes to mind and I think the traditional pattern in the back ground brings it back to the adult attraction.

I like the colour scheme on this business card. I think that the brown card works really well as the basis. In previous projects of my own I have used brown paper to print instead of usual white paper and I really like the way that the colours look different once printed on brown instead of white. Like these business cards, I don' think that I would be as drawn to these if they were done on white paper.

the simplicity of this card is why this is exciting. I think all the relevant information is on there and so the one liner on the back just adds that little bit of fun to the card. the simple cut and sharp design is accessible to anybody.

here is a source that I looked at for these business cards:

I really like these business cards as a series. I think that the style and colour scheme works so well together along with the white card used. The rounded edges is also what caught my eye, it gives the cards the extra little professional touch which I really like. The logos used also work as they explain the person and their specialism within the company.
