One of the magazines that I have chosen to use is GLAMOUR. I have chosen the 'handbag-sized' magazine as this size seems to be more appropriate size to be able to read for women nowadays. GLAMOUR was the first to do this, then in 2003 Cosmopolitan followed in style to compete with competition. People are more likely to buy the smaller magazine size if they are travelling, commuting and just a quick read in the car etc. It's much more manageable size and the pages are still very clear and readable.
I have bought 2 copies of the magaines and I have taken measurements from these.

Another magazine that I am keen on basing one of my DPS's on is the Marie Claire Magazine, I have looked at this magazine because of the style of the magazine pages, I really like the layouts that are inside as they are busy and full of the information that is wanted by the woman that buy it, they get what they pay for here and at £3.70 you will expect a good quality and a lot of content.
The copy I bought of Marie Claire and measured it.

In a previous post I said how I had contacted Anna Fowler and Luke Woodford, the photographers. After waiting for a reply I received only a message from Luke Woodford. He has agreed to let me us his images, but he would like to see where his photographs will be used as he would find it interesting to see, for example, in my portfolio or in a show. So after making the DPS I will the take a photo and send these to his via email.
